Triumph PrimeFab will renovate facility, manufacture two new products for Ontario housing market, creating 36 new jobs
A prefabricated home manufacturer is stepping up its operations in Midland with a multimillion-dollar investment.
Triumph PrimeFab will put $5,158,000 toward establishing advanced manufacturing operations in town and launching the production of two new prefabricated construction products for the Ontario housing market, creating 36 new jobs and retaining five existing positions.
The province is providing Triumph PrimeFab with $773,700 from the Regional Development Program’s Southwestern Ontario Development Fund.
“PrimeFab is grateful for the support of the Ontario government as we expand our manufacturing capabilities in Midland,” Mario Ribeiro, CEO of Triumph Group of Companies, said in a news release.
“This investment allows us to accelerate the delivery of prefabricated building solutions while creating skilled jobs in the Midland community. Our goal is to support the growing demand for high-performance prefabricated wall systems and modular building solutions across Ontario.”
Simcoe North MPP Jill Dunlop said the company’s investment “will support growth and innovation across the local manufacturing sector and create more good-paying jobs for workers and families in Simcoe County.”
Triumph, which manufactures prefabricated wall systems and modular construction components, will renovate its newly acquired 100,000-square-foot facility to produce two new products for the Ontario housing market, including prefabricated modular homes and PrimeWall, a high-performance prefabricated wall system designed to improve energy-efficient construction.
“The project will also support the installation of advanced automation equipment, including CNC cutting systems and fabrication robots, allowing the company to scale production and meet growing demand for faster, more cost-effective housing construction,” the release stated.
